About Felecia Brice McFail
Felecia Brice McFail was born in Washington, DC and raised a short distance away in Arlington, Virginia. From a young age Felecia always enjoyed the arts, especially calligraphy, the art of beautiful handwriting.
After attending Arlington County Public Schools, she continue her education at Norfolk State University, receiving a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration 1981. She further matriculated at the Corcoran School of the Arts for Calligraphy, in 1982.
That same year she launched From One Hand To Another also known as the FOHTA Collection. The FOHTA Collection was established as a way for Felecia to spread her talents of calligraphy to the masses.
Over the past 26 years the FOHTA Collection has tried many different avenues to display calligraphy. Through personalized stationery, framed prayers and poems and the most popular inscriptions, "What's in a Name?", a personalized plaque that give the meaning of a person's first and middle name.
In 2008 the FOHTA Collection launched its most recent project the "Hang A Scripture" series of the most popular passages in the Bible. The "Hang A Scripture" series was created so that the divine scriptures of the Bible would be elegantly displayed in the homes of people around the world.
Felecia is a member of the Washington Calligraphy Guild and a respected member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church of Arlington, VA Business Partners Ministry. She still resides in Arlington, Virginia where she has recently opened the FOHTA Gallery.
